Quick Job Facts

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years recent cooking experience (may include apprenticeship) in a large, high-volume (200+ covers per meal period) production kitchen and has a passion for the culinary arts! Prep over 10,000 meals and snack s daily!

The Schedule

Work at least 70 hours per week during an 8-month contract
May request up to 24 hours additional overtime per week

A Day in The Life

6:00am	::	9:00am	Clock-in, pick up stores and prep breakfast line
9:00am	::	11:00am	Begin prepping and peeling vegetables, slicing cheese and making salads for lunch and dinner
11:00am	::	12:00pm	Lunch Break
12:00pm	::	2:00pm	Serve lunch, clean work location
2:00pm	::	4:30pm	Break (Nap Time!)
4:30pm	::	7:30pm	Prepare line for dinner service
7:30pm	::	8:00pm	Dinner break
8:00pm	::	10:00pm	Clean and sanitize work area and utensils to USPH standards

You will be subject to random alcohol/drug testing

Pay Day

You will earn a weekly salary competitive in the cruise industry and be paid in US dollars every other week. Overtime is paid at an hourly rate for all hours worked over 70 and not exceeding 94. While on contract, you will be provided with medical care, disability and death benefits as well as joining and subsequent flights.

Home Sweet Home

You will share a small yet functional cabin with 1 or 2 additional Crew Members (of the same gender) possibly from another culture. Cabins are complete with a TV/DVD player, wireless Internet at a reduced rate, a personal lockable storage space and beverage cooler. Phone service is available in cabin, in port and via a pre-paid cellular service. You will be provided with room, board and meals.

When You're Not Working

While you will not have a whole day off, you will have time off during your day to rest or have a little fun – email family/friends, hang out at the Crew Deck or Crew Beach on Castaway Cay, join a soccer or volleyball game or explore a port of call.
